Murannia (Mur-RAN-nia) Loriformus (Lor-REE-for-muss)
Comes in a 15cm hanging pot with detachable hooks so can be hung or placed on a shelf. 💚
Was originally grown for medicinal purposes to improve respiratory illnesses and to remove toxins from the body.
Nicknamed the "Bright Star" Plant due to the silver sections of the plant reflecting sunlight very well.
Care and tips:
🌞 = Prefers indirect sunlight, leaves will curl if they are receiving too much light.
💧= Allow soil to completely dry between waters, then water and be sure to drain any excess water left as this will create a root rot problem. They like humidity, so mist regularly.
🐶🐱👶= Not known to be toxic, but with all our plants, we suggest keeping away from children and pets just to be on the safe side!
Fairly easy to propagate using the vine cutting method.
Things to look out for:
Overwatering: Don't allow to sit in water or this can cause root rot which could cause the stems and leaves to have a mushy appearance and die.
Underwatering: If underwatered, the leaves and stems can look brown and shrivelled/dried up.
